If Jesus accepts you as a Disciple of Christ or a follower of Christ, Jesus sends the Holy Ghost to you
If Jesus accepts you as a follower of Christ, He will CONFIRM that decision by sending the Holy Ghost to you. This decision is NOT always automatic; sometimes Jesus will take a few days to make a final decision. This is why we say that those people who follow the Once Saved, Always Saved doctrine are NOT SAVED. They THINK they are saved, but they are not. Their church is NOT telling them that they have to be accepted by Jesus before they are saved.
So once Jesus has accepted you, He will send you the Holy Ghost who will come to you. You will NEVER forget the Holy Ghost when He comes toyou after being sent by Jesus because He is like a mighty rushing wind. So let's see what the Bible says about Jesus sending the Holy Ghost to you. As you can clearly see in scripture, Jesus tells His disciples that He is not going to leave them comfortless. We see in scripture where Jesus tells them that HE - Jesus - is sending to Holy Ghost to them to help them, guide them, nurture them, and comfort them in their walk as Disciples of Jesus:
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26 - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7 - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
As you can CLEARLY see, the Lord Jesus Christ sends the Holy Ghost to His disciples and followers. To further bolster the point, there is scripture that shows that the Holy Ghost is the earnest, or guarantee of YOUR salvation. That means you are NOT saved until you are filled with the Holy Ghost, and Jesus ONLY sends the Holy Ghost to His Disciples and followers. Here is the scripture that shows that the Holy Ghost is the earnest of salvation:
2 Corinthians 1:19-22 - For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
2 Corinthians 5:5 - Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Ephesians 1:13-14 - In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
As you can plainly see in scripture, Jesus will confirm your acceptance as a Disicple of Christ or a follower of Christ with the Holy Ghost, who is the guarantee of your salvation.
So why is this a mystery to most people who go to church?
The Once Saved, Always Saved doctrine turns its back on the Holy Ghost via the religious spirit, which is from the devil. Don't believe what we are saying here, confirm what we have said with the Lord Jesus Christ YOURSELF. Your church is not telling you that because the Holy Ghost does NOT fit into their doctrine, so to make up for that, the churches tell you that 'you already got the Holy Ghost when you were saved' (which is not true, as we just established that Jesus has to SEND you the Holy Ghost. refer to the scripture above) or they will tell you that 'The Holy Ghost is NOT for today'.
The Holy Ghost absolutely IS for today and He is a very important part of YOUR salvation, as you will see.
Most of the Once Saved, Always Saved pastors are NOT EVEN SAVED themselves because they discount the Holy Ghost and grieve Him terribly. Know that you CANNOT be 'saved' if you are NOT filled with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is REQUIRED of all Disciples and followers of Christ to be able to get into the Kingdom of God. In other words, you CANNOT get into the Kingdom of God WITHOUT the Holy Ghost.
So how does the Once Saved, Always Saved doctrine get rid of the Holy Ghost 'problem'?
This is why Once Saved, Always Saved is a lie.
